Have You Been Abducted?

UFO’s have captured our attention for many years.  Every flash in the sky coupled with the pictures satellites in space make us believe or want to believe that there is life on other planets.  There have been many accounts (albeit in the Enquirer) about people who get abducted by aliens and are returned with a new sense of wonder and enlightenment.

The same can be said for those who are diagnosed with a chronic or other life-altering illness.  Many feel as if they’ve been abducted by aliens with this foreign presence in their body.  There is an intruder that has presented itself and this alien being at times may seem to be more in control of your body than you.

Remember in all those alien movies where the alien approaches the human and says, “We come in peace”.  That works great in the movies, but it’s not a reality when it comes to a health challenge.  The truth is the alien is compromising your feelings of peace and well-being.  You may not be taken to a far-away planet, but you are taken to a view of life you never had before and as you know it’s unknown territory.

The aliens in movies are always exotic, dressed beautifully, and even if “ugly” they command a presence.  The alien in our bodies can’t be seen by the eye and I would venture to say that no one thinks they’re exotic except maybe researchers looking for a cure.  Illness in the body is like the invisibility cloak in Harry Potter; we know it’s there but we can’t see it and that makes it difficult to confront.  You have to confront in differently, through physical, emotional, and spiritual experiences that work to strengthen your natural defenses warding off the evil alien.

It would only be possible to see the alien if we were like those in the movie “Fantastic Voyage” where a team entered a human’s body and explored the inner workings.  Someday that may be a possibility.  For today, just know that there are aliens around and be suspicious of them because their intent is not honorable.  Develop strong internal resources so you don’t get abducted.
